Mental Health Awareness Month at Mighty Crow
May is here, and that means it's Mental Health Awareness Month (MHAM) - a wonderful time to hit pause, talk openly about mental health, and celebrate the amazing folks we work with who do the vital work of helping others. At Mighty Crow, everything we do is about helping organizations dedicated to public good; the ones on the front lines supporting communities, listening to tough stories of trauma and struggle, and identifying solutions, treatments and opportunities for those in need. But, our commitment to wellness isn’t just external, it defines everything we do as a company.
With that in mind, we are absolutely thrilled to kick off MHAM with some big news: Mighty Crow has earned the 2026 Silver Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health from Mental Health America - the nation’s leading nonprofit dedicated to the promotion of mental health, well-being, and prevention. We ‘re proud to join a select group of organizations committed to fostering psychologically safer, supportive environments where employees can thrive professionally and personally.
Since mental health is at the core of everything we do, our plan for May is to explore the topic from all sides. Throughout the month, we'll dive into SAMSHA’s official MHAM themes and see how they connect to what we do, what our clients achieve, and our special culture here at Mighty Crow:
Week 1: Awareness Leads to Compassion. We'll start with the powerful ideas of empathy and compassion, and why it's so important to openly talk about issues like compassion fatigue, especially for helping professionals. Check back on Monday, 5/4 for more details.
Week 2: Early Support Matters. We’ll shine a light on the benefits of early mental health support for children and youth by celebrating the critical work that several of our wonderful clients are doing for younger generations. More details on Monday, 5/11.
Week 3: Words Matter and Words Can Heal. This week is a perfect chance to highlight some of our favorite client projects that demonstrate the healing power of appropriate intervention. We’ll share this on the blog on Monday, 5/18.
Week 4: Connection is a Powerful Form of Care. We'll wrap things up by circling back to us—talking about our Bell Seal-recognized workplace, our wellness program, and how we stick together and support each other through the hard, necessary work we do. See more on Monday, 5/24.
For us, Mental Health Awareness isn't just something we observe for a month; it's the core of our belief that We Help People Who Help People. We hope you'll join us this May as we share our stories.
